ABOUT OUR CHAPTER

On October 31, 2009, our chapter voted to disband and we donated the balance of our funds to the California Clean Money Campaign. No, it was not a sad decision but a transition. We were formed to make an effect at the grassroots level and help end corporate domination and we are close to one of our goals: we were successful in putting a ballot measure on the June 2010 California statewide ballot, Prop 15, the California Fair Elections Act, which will begin a system of full public funding of campaigns. The chapter members will continue to devote their energies towards ending corporate domination by working on fair elections or single payor healthcare or many other worthwhile efforts.
